Logistics

So how does one get to Whistler? One of the easiest ways is to fly into Vancouver International Airport. From there, you can rent a car and drive 2.5 hours to Whistler. If you visit between May and October, then you’ll also have the option of taking a floatplane from Vancouver and Victoria to Whistler.

Finding the perfect place to stay is easy. Take a look at our rental properties, which span a wide range of locations, budgets, and styles!

Things to Do

Whistler boasts a number of awesome activities for outdoorsy families. We recommend…

Snowsports: Whistler is one of the best places in the world for snowsports. Whether you’re an advanced skier or a beginner, there is terrain for you. Other ways to enjoy the snow include sledding, snowtubing, snowshoeing, and ice skating.

Hiking: In the warmer months, Whistler is a great place to hike! Lost Lake, which has a beautiful nature trail, is only ten minutes from the village. More hiking trails can be viewed here: https://www.alltrails.com/canada/british-columbia/whistler

Recreation: At the base of the Blackcomb Gondola, there’s a fantastic Family Adventure Zone with bungee trampolines, a bouncy castle, a ropes course, water rollerz, and more. Whistler Mountain Bike Park is also a beloved location for recreation.

Looking for something to do indoors? Check out the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre or the Whistler Museum
