Because of this, you can be sure to find live music on your next vacation if you know where to look! Below I have included a description of two bars with live performances as well as two nightclubs.
Merlin Bar and Grill
This ski après, take in the view of a setting sun through Merlin’s large glass windows and prepare for a night of fun. Every Thursday, enjoy après with DJ Shotski as he takes station in the suspended gondola car! Then on Friday, kick it with the local rocker band, Hairfarmers, beginning at 3:30 pm. This laid back, old school bar carries the spirit of a true ski town where you can enjoy stacked high nachos and a friendly atmosphere the rest of the week too!
Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub
Enjoy the liveliness of Ireland right here in Whistler! Dubh Lihn Gate brings in the best of live performers and upbeat Celtic tunes. Get those books tappin' to some covers and original songs by the local bands of Ruckus Deluxe, The Red Chair, Whiskeydicks, and The Misfitz. Buffalo Bills Bar and Grill
This Bar and Grill doubles as a Nightclub on the weekends. Check out their Saturday Night Dance Party playing everything from today's hits to classic rock. Feel the beat and cry out the lyrics to your favorite songs where everyone comes to party. As a bonus for the ladies, you can get free entry and a glass of bubbly on Ladies Night each Friday. All other nights enjoy some tunes, noteworthy brews, pool, buck hunter and pinball.
Garfinkel's
Jump and raise your glass to the best hip hop, trap, and bangers of the time with DJ Praiz every Thursday. A sure good way to bring in the weekend with an energetic group of friends. The party continues with DJ Fidel Cashflow on Ciroc Fridays and an all star DJ lineup each #SupremeSaturday. And, if you are up for it, extend your weekend into Sunday evening with Sunday Bangers; a rotation of performances by local DJs, events, and groups.
